Scene 1, Take 2...We're Back!!

We were heartbroken last year for the people of Kenya when, just days before the race, the streets of Nairobi erupted in protest against higher taxes on basic necessities like bread. The government's response, including the shooting of several protesters, led the marathon organizers to make a tough call and cancel the 2024 race.

We are going back again and taking part in the Lewa Safari Marathon on 28th June 2025 to help raise vital funds for Tusk to support a wide range of conservation projects across Kenya.  This is the 25th anniversary year so participating is extra special.

We have chosen to support Tusk because:

• Tusk partners with more than 79 projects in 24 countries across Africa
• Tusk has invested over £130 million since founded, in direct conservation activity
• Over 40 endangered species benefit from Tusk's projects
• Tusk has secured over 50 million hectares of landscape for wildlife
• And more than 10million + people benefit from Tusk's work
