My story

This will be my third half marathon—which means I’m either experienced, or just really bad at learning lessons. But this time, I’m putting all that chaotic cardio energy to good use.

When I joined BlackRock in 2018, I saw a poster for the Lewa Safari Marathon and thought, “Bucket list!” Seven years later, here I am—signed up, laced up, and ready to run with rhinos (and yes, probably buy more shoes).

If you know me, you know I care deeply about the environment (I might have taken your recycling bin away once). So this run is my way of doing what I love—for a cause I believe in.
